Need to get some sleep now before rising at 4am May 2nd to tackle the straight 1000 Meters up to Camp 3. Largest vertical ascent yet.
Alix and Trich’s paths have diverged, having reached Gokyo Ri at 5300 Meters - Alix continues on towards Base Camp, staying just ahead of a storm, currently perched on the edge of a “giant glacier” as she calls it, (not having seen a really big one yet)
Trich felt reaching the same height as Base Camp was a personal goal achieved and messages from her body encouraged her to head back down.

We are supposed to do the Tour de Mont Blanc together… it will be boring for you after EBC…
To climb the Mt Blanc will be a better challenge for you ? What do you think ?
